Nutritional Consultation

At PT.com.sg, our very own Nutritional Consultant can prescribe a diet plan specially tailored for you. These diet plans are approved by a sports nutritionist.

Firstly, we will take a critical look at your current diet, establishing the amount of calories you are taking in right now as well as have a rough idea of your eating habits. Then we get to know more about your goals (weight loss, muscle gain etc.). Additional information such as body weight, body fat percentage, daily activity level and pre-existing conditions are also noted.
With this information, we are able to tweak and improve your diet either by adding or subtracting food, in addition to providing practical recommendations on substituting unhealthy foods in your diet with healthier choices. Your daily maintenance calories (amount of food you should be eating in order to maintain body weight) will be calculated. From there, a reasonable caloric deficit (for fat loss) or surplus (for muscle gain) can also be calculated.

Incorporating all these values, a sample meal will be prescribed following a specific macronutrient ratio (eg. Protein 25%, Carbohydrates 55%, Fats 20% etc.) to help you achieve your fitness goals.
A huge food list that contains the best sources of protein, carbohydrate and fat is provided so that you are able to keep the diet plan flexible by varying the foods you eat while ensuring that they are healthy and beneficial to you.
Tip and tricks that are useful for keeping metabolism high and other advice regarding diet breaks are also included. This is very important in overcoming weight loss plateaus and ensuring long term, permanent weight loss success. Information on progression of the diet and a troubleshooting guide is also available.

Finally, a section dedicated to important diet and nutritional tips is included. It also includes a short of essential health or sports supplements that we highly recommend and the correct dosages for these products.
