Filbert
Filbert “Fil the Glutes” Kwek has been in the coaching industry ever since his undergraduate days in university. As a competitive athlete himself, he has undergone years of honing his craft both in the court and in the gym. As such, Filbert has undergone an extensive amount of training programs and exercises and has an excellent grasp of what’s effective and what’s not. These days, Filbert focuses his endeavors towards the sport of powerlifting; while helping his clients attain their desired goals, given his wide array of specialties.
As someone who’s ever passionate about sports and fitness, Filbert never steps on the brakes in his journey towards learning. He reads extensively about the human anatomy, and updates himself with new exercise science and nutrition studies to ensure that clients get the utmost best when they train with him. Knowledge is power, and it goes a long way in ensuring training effectiveness and injury prevention. This aspect can be seen in Filbert’s coaching style, which is very methodical and structured, specially aimed towards each client’s individual strengths and weaknesses.
Given his time as a Personal Trainer and Strength Coach, Filbert has worked with a myriad of clients who predominantly have had very common nagging issues in their knees, shoulders, back. Thus far, he has helped every client fix their issues and improved their quality of life, while continuing to guide them towards the path to their goals. Clients can rest assured that they are in very good hands when they train with Filbert.
