Pooja Vig
Pooja Vig, founded The Nutrition Clinic in 2006 with the objective to offer health optimization through nutrition. Professionally trained as a microbiologist from the UK and having worked in the life sciences industry for more than 15 years, Pooja was drawn to the field of nutrition as it is an area of much discovery and change.
Believing that imbalances exist years before any disease can be detected, that these may be chemical and energetic in origin, and are affected by nutrients, genetics, energy, environment and the mind. She believes identifying and correcting these imbalances early through nutritional and lifestyle changes can be successful in restoring balance. She is a strong advocate of personalized nutrition, based on the needs of each individual’s lifestyle and their genetics.
Pooja has an Advanced Diploma in Nutrition and is currently completing her Masters in Nutritional Therapy.
Pooja specializes in working with the principles of glycemic load and blood sugar management, metabolic syndrome, digestive health and using Asian Superfoods. The Nutrition Clinic also runs health and nutrition workshops for companies and organizations. Her clients include: Singapore Airlines, Petroleum Geo-System and The Breast Cancer Foundation.
